Happy St. Patrick's Day

Whoever you are St. Patrick...legend or man...we celebrated you. And Ireland.

And we loved every minute.
Even if she is only 1/4 Irish.

Yesterday was David's birthday. He wanted low key. Just the three of us. No special plans. No special dinner. No friends. Just us, hanging out.

It's days like this I realize how different we are and how much beauty there is in that. I love and appreciate that he loves home. That he wants to be with just us. That for him, special means normal. That is so sweet.

I'm so glad he was born. I know that sounds silly, because he's my husband, father of my child. But really, I believe that the world is a better place because of him. He believes the best. He is the hardest worker I have ever met. He does nothing halfheartedly. He loves deeply and practically. He gets on his hands and knees to play with our 3 month old who has no idea what is going on. He has a deep sense of integrity and purpose. He honors what is right.
He loves me for me,allows me to be, and encourages me to be the best version of that.

Do you know David? If you do, lucky you. If you don't, you should. He is a great man.

Time Flies

How does time go by so quickly. It is hard to believe that my little precious who I am sitting here with, is nearly 3 months old. To play catch up:

January whizzed by with visits from Great Aunt Sal

And many other adventures:

Hanging with Uncle Sean

I love having a bath!

Love going to Golden Spoon

January and February have been so great. We are learning so much about each other and learning how to work as a family of three. Despite getting sick in January, and catching Daddy and Mommy's cold this week, Brenna has been healthy and happy. She is a pure joy who brings so much love and excitement to our family. Life sure is different than it use to be, but I wouldn't change a thing!
